⚙️ Essential Prerequisites¶
Before launching the client, ensure you have the following Windows runtimes installed:
- DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010): Needed for legacy audio/video rendering.
- Visual C++ Redistributables (2015-2022 x86 & x64): Required by the game binary and Gepard Shield.
- DirectPlay: Must be enabled under Windows Features (
Control Panel > Turn Windows features on or off > Legacy Components > DirectPlay).
