MVP Tombstone & Respawn Mechanics

FinaleRO includes the classic MVP Tombstone System which documents the exact death time and slayer of world bosses.

🪦 How Tombstones Work

When an MVP is defeated, an interactive Tombstone NPC appears on the exact coordinate where the boss was killed:

  • Clicking the Tombstone reveals:
  • Name of the MVP.
  • Exact server time of death (HH:MM:SS).
  • Name of the victorious adventurer who claimed MVP honors.
  • Tombstone Removal: The tombstone disappears automatically when the MVP respawns.

⏱️ Respawn Window & Random Delays

To prevent bot sniping and maintain competition, all MVPs have a Spawn Variance Window (typically base time + 0 to 10 minutes random offset):

[!NOTE] During the random 10-minute window, scouting parties must search the entire field or dungeon floor as the MVP can spawn anywhere within valid walkable coordinates.
